The idea of an online blog was planted a few weeks later, and even took root a bit as I prayed about it. The confirmation came when Kimberly Hayes, completely unaware of what I was already thinking, asked me to consider heading up an online blog as an extension of Sugar Grove Church's Women of Worth (WoW). Really?! I continued to seek the Lord about it and, well, you know how it is when you just know God is leading you to do something!
Wow Connect! has some similarities to Heads Up. If you were a reader of Heads Up, you'll remember the "Sister Scoop" column, where we featured a different SGC lady each time, as a way of getting to know our SGC sisters. We've renamed that column to reflect WoW and you will now find Diana Gipson's interviews in the "Women of Worth: Life Stories" tab. "At His Feet," my devotional column was just renamed last year, so we kept that the same. Jen Nofziger will be giving us some great book reviews in "Coffee and a Book." Other pages for you to check out are our "God Sightings," where you can read or post your own testimonies of the Lord's work in your life, "Home Made Simple," with recipes, tips for saving money and more, and "Question of the Week," for your discussion.

Our topic for this month's WoW Connect! is prayer. We hope you will be inspired to pray for your families, friends, persecuted Christians, and any other concerns the Lord lays on your heart. Please spend focused time praying for our country in the coming weeks, that people's hearts and minds will be moved to vote into office men and women of integrity, who will fight for God-inspired principles. This is a vital time in our country's history!
Enjoy your time here at WoW Connect!
